A Night of Cream Cheese

If a Night of Cream Cheese doesn't entice you to come to a Relief Society Activity, you must be lactose intolerant, or something....

Who doesn't LOVE Cream Cheese?!?!?!?!?

My committee and I met and we came up with the idea of having everyone bring a dish with cream cheese in it.  It could have been a dessert, a jello, dip.... You name it!!!! as long as it had cream cheese in it!!!

And we had so many different and yummy treats to taste (or devour, same thing when you're talking about cream cheese).

We said an opening prayer and then let loose.

But, I promise, there really was more of a purpose for getting together.

As we munched, we also tied fleece blankets and tied a quilt.  The blankets were donated to McKay Dee Hospital and the quilt was for a sister in our ward with an illness.

Here's the poster to announce this activity:  (the middle 'cream cheese' box was 3-D -I used my toddlers old shoe box to make it pop out)

and the announcement.  Sorry for the drool and bite mark on the left bottom corner...

...no there's not really a bite mark :)  but look closely for the drool.

And here's some of us finishing the quilt.  I didn't get a pic of the fleece blankets, but they were bought at Joanne's and were 1 yard in size.

And here's some of the treats that were brought!!!

Awwwwwww (heavenly angel like).

Thanks again, to my committee for all their hard work in putting these activities together.

and I say "these" because.......

*****This was my last "RS Committee Coordinator person" activity.  I was released the end of the year.

And I thought THAT was a busy calling.  PUH!!!!!! NOTHING compared to my new one.

Exciting news to come!!!!!!

Having said that, does anyone look at this AWESOME blog???  I know we used to get a lot of looks from iheartprimarymusic....
